We take very seriously what we perceive as an obligation to contribute to our community. We have frequently made presentations to community organizations, social service agencies, churches, and health centers and mental-health centers on the issue of Social Security disability. We do not charge for the service, and while we acknowledge that one of our motivations for providing this service is to meet people who may have Social Security disability claims, we do not condition making these presentations on receiving anything in return. Providing information to, and being a resource for organizations that help our disadvantaged neighbors is reward enough in and of itself.
These are just some of the topics that we can cover in a presentation to your organization:
The different types of disability benefits
The application process
The definition of disability and how to prove disability
Specific impairments and disability (for example, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, mental-health disorders)
Drug and alcohol abuse and disability claims
What attorneys do for claimants in disability claims
Please feel free to contact us to discuss a presentation to your organization.
