After growing up in sunny Florida, Lindsey decided to move to Pittsburgh, PA to attend law school. Following graduation, Lindsey served as a judicial law clerk for two years to the Honorable Daniel L. Leland, District Chief Judge (retired) of the U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Administrative Law Judges in Pittsburgh. Lindsey then spent over 12 years representing coal mines and their insurers in federal black lung claims. She handled claims from inception through the appellate process, including appeals to the Benefits Review Board and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals.
Lindsey is excited to be a part of the appellate section of Osterhout Disability Law and to use her background in administrative proceedings to assist individuals in obtaining the benefits they deserve.
