After growing up in sunny Florida, Lindsey decided to move to Pittsburgh, PA to attend law school. Following graduation, Lindsey served as a judicial law clerk for two years to the Honorable Daniel L. Leland, District Chief Judge (retired) of the U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Administrative Law Judges in Pittsburgh. She then spent over 12 years handling federal black lung claims from inception through the appellate process, including appeals to the Benefits Review Board and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals.

Deciding she needed a change, Lindsey started working in the appellate section of OBL, where she is using her background in administrative proceedings to assist individuals in obtaining the benefits they deserve.
