Since her first job at age 16, Kelly has worked in various capacities with a common aim: to better the lives of individuals with disabilities. She graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Sociology and worked for several years, including positions in a therapeutic group home and providing benefits counseling to SSI and SSDI recipients who wanted to return to work. She then attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where she received a Dean’s Scholarship and participated in the Health Law Clinic, representing indigenous clients before the Social Security Administration. Upon graduation, she began her legal career as an Attorney Advisor with the Social Security Administration, Office of Disability Adjudication and Review. In 2016, she joined Osterhout Berger Disability Law, and considers it a privilege to advocate for the firm’s clients.
Kelly lives north of Pittsburgh with her husband and three children. In her free time, she can usually be found reading, writing, or pacing the sidelines of her children’s sporting events.
